The Pipistrel Alpha Electro is a 2-seat all-electric fixed-wing aircraft. It has short take-off distance, powerful 1200+ fpm climb capability and an endurance of up to 40 minutes plus a 30-minute reserve.

It can cruise between 66 and 90 knots, but more speed means faster energy consumption, so take it slow and enjoy the view from the massive floor to ceiling window doors!

We maintain a Pipisterl Electro at Cloud Dancer Pilot Training in Jandakot, Western Australia

At Strike Aviation in Caboolture in Queensland 

and at Lilydale Flying Schoool in th Yarra Valley, near Melbourne, Victoria.

The Pipistrel Electro is Sport category (RA-AUS) Aircraft, not a GA Aircraft. 

To fly the Sport category, you need to have a valid and current RA-AUS Certificate. GA Pilots can achieve certification by completing 5 hours on type in an Electric or Non Electric Aircraft. Around 3 hours dual and another 2 solo.

Additionally, to fly in Class D aircspace, you wil need to be a current Part 61 license holder.

Price includes GST, energy and landing fees at home and surrounding airports.

The aircraft is registered in the Sport category with RA-AUS, so pilots will need to be a RPC holder or complete a conversion.

Additionally, a difference training package will need to be completed satisfactorily with the hosting flight school before private hire is available.
